Note — Every AI feature, free or Pro, uses your own AI provider and key, and your provider bills you for that usage. Slipway doesn't resell AI. See AI providers and models.

How to upgrade#
You can open the Slipway Pro sheet from any of these places:
- The Upgrade from $5 / month link at the bottom of the apps sidebar. It's shown while you're on the Free plan.
- Settings ▸ General ▸ Plan ▸ Upgrade to Pro…
- Any button marked as Pro, such as Localize, Rewrite with AI or Generate All Sizes & Locales. Using one on the Free plan opens the sheet.
- See Pro in the ASO Assistant card on the Optimize tab.
The sheet compares Free and Pro, and lists the three plans. Click a plan to choose it, or click Not Now to close the sheet.
Once you've upgraded, Settings ▸ General ▸ Plan shows Pro · monthly, Pro · yearly or Pro · lifetime with All features unlocked, and the sidebar banner disappears.
During the beta#
Note — Purchases aren't live yet. While Slipway is in beta, choosing a plan on the Pro sheet unlocks Pro on your Mac right away, and no payment is taken. Restore currently just says "Nothing to restore yet".
The unlock is stored locally on your Mac. Pricing and purchase terms for the release version will be published here before purchases go live.
FAQ#
Does Pro include AI credits? No. AI features run on your own provider key: Anthropic, OpenAI, Google Gemini, xAI Grok, a local Ollama model or any OpenAI-compatible endpoint. Ollama runs locally and needs no key.
Is there a limit on apps or teams? No, on either plan. See Add your first team.
What happens to my work if I stop using Pro? Your listings, builds and screenshots live in App Store Connect, and your studio projects are files on your Mac, so nothing is locked inside Slipway. Billing and renewal terms will be published when purchases go live.
Can I upload screenshots for other locales on the Free plan? No. Free uploads every size for your studio's source locale only, and the upload sheet says Free plan uploads one locale. when your project has more than one. Pro uploads every locale in the project at once. See Uploading screenshots.
